Deputy asks for explanations about the nine underground floors of the US embassy in Brazil

Brazilian deputy Filipe Barros asked the Government of Joe Biden for explanations about the U.S. Embassy, which will have nine underground floors in the South American nation.“As this is a matter of national sovereignty, I submit a request for clarification for the U.S. Embassy to explain to the Brazilian people why such a large structure with nine underground floors is necessary,” Barros said on social networks.
According to what was published by Venezuela News, this diplomatic structure based in the Brazilian capital has an investment of about 623 million dollars, however, no details have been given about underground construction.
In addition, the embassy will be ready by 2030 and will be located just five minutes from the Presidential Palace of Brazil.
