Deputy Infante: Dialogue table has received 25 calendar proposals for elections in Venezuela

Pedro Infante, first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), assured that in the last 15 days there have been nine rounds of dialogue in which 25 proposals have been received for dates for the holding of elections in Venezuela. “These are suggestions for dates that will be evaluated by the electoral authority, which is the governing body and will decide when they will be carried out,” he said.

He added that the meetings had as their “principle of breadth, they were frank, with sincerity and they were held without racism or political discrimination”.

He pointed out that more than 500 people have participated in the dialogue tables, who have recorded more than 200 proposals, in more than 90 documents “to propose a draft agreement in a document that allows us to embrace general principles, with calendar proposals for an electoral process and with the expansion of electoral guarantees.”
