This Tuesday, August 5, the Deputy Minister of Anti-Blockade Policies, William Castillo, emphasized that the economic growth of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a productive national effort, uniting the work of all Venezuelans.

He argued that this becomes great learning, to break with the blockade and with the reactivation of new projects, enterprises, industrial plants and investments to improve the quality of life of the population.

During a telephone contact on La Noticia broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, the vice-minister congratulated the Venezuelan people, because it was a collective effort led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the prominence of the communal councils, communes, peasant organizations, unions, workers, national and foreign businessmen who bet on the country.

“The great learning for the whole country is that we cannot make the economy an element that harms us all, in search of political power, because there are mechanisms to access political power, and the most recent were the elections of councilors, mayors and governors,” he stressed.

He also stressed that politics cannot be used to damage a country's economy, cause the emigration of Venezuelans, as well as suffering and death.

“We all know each other and we know who conspired, and who supported that false government that was an industry of looting; it was only a political plan of violence to destroy Venezuelan democracy,” he said.

He also noted that Venezuela is currently showing a legitimate and recognized electoral process, just as with its own efforts it continues to recover the economy, taking firm steps to show the pride of being Venezuelan.
