The Project for the Reform of the Organic Law of the Communes, which is being carried out by the National Assembly (AN), seeks to strengthen communal circuits, with the objective of evolving towards the formation of the Communal State, said the Deputy Minister for the Communal Economy, Saúl Osio.
In the program Café in the Morning, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he explained that Venezuela's proposal, “is direct and participatory democracy, it is a way of empowering people to build the model that we ourselves dream of; our socialism in our form.”
He noted that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on national, regional and municipal institutions to advance in the communes.
“Governing with the communes; that means guaranteeing spaces for participation and permanent orientation of Popular Power,” he said.
He also recalled that President Maduro pointed out that next January 10 marks the beginning of the period of Government of the People's Power and it has repercussions with the call he made at the Congress of the Historical Bloc in relation to the territorialization of politics.
For this reason, he stressed that the Timon Coup is an important historical phrase for the country's community members, because it recalls the last call of Commander Hugo Chávez, who entrusted the head of state to advance the unity and strengthening of all communes, in order to promote the proposals of true Bolivarian socialism.
