This Thursday, the Deputy Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, reported that 2,000 guests have attended Venezuela, including leaders, youth, workers and peasants, to participate in the Great World Anti-Fascist Festival, in which they will discuss collective actions in the face of the imposition of neoliberal policies.

“There is a great international movement to confront this scourge (fascism) that impacts our lives,” said the Deputy Minister.

During his speech, Peña recalled that last year on November 22 and 23, more than 500 delegations from 70 countries participated in the first edition of the International Anti-Fascist Youth Congress in Caracas.

He also highlighted that on November 28 and 29, 1,100 delegates from 76 countries held in Caracas the World Meeting of the Promoting Team of the Anti-Fascist International, with the objective of laying the solid foundations that would allow the creation of a powerful global organic structure that would defeat and definitively extinguish fascism, neofascism, Zionism and related expressions.
