The Venezuelan economy is maintaining healthy and significant progress, despite the blockade and unilateral sanctions of the United States, which is reflected in the full productive expansion that practically achieves the entire national supply, Ramón Lobo, the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), said yesterday.
During the Coffee in the Morning program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he specified that “this is thanks to a titanic effort of the different national economic actors, with the coordination carried out by the Bolivarian Government and achieved by the National Council for Productive Economy”.
In this regard, he pointed out that if such efforts continue and facilitate a greater expansion of the productive apparatus, it will also be possible to obtain higher revenues for the national treasury, as evidenced by the tax collection registered by the National Integrated Customs Administration Service (SENIAT).
“SENIAT reflects constant real increases, look at all the progress we have been able to achieve. Faced with the situation of attack on the oil industry, other sectors have been generated that have been partially replacing what is not being served,” he said.
On the other hand, Lobo applauded the adaptability of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, “with our working class, and with mechanisms such as reverse engineering, we have been able to empower ourselves.”
He also mentioned that throughout 2025, the country has faced a tightening of international sanctions. “In the midst of a siege that continues with a media, psychological campaign that seeks to immobilize economic agents,” he stressed.
He said that this scenario has led many to question how Venezuela can sustain this growth despite adversities.
“This is the result of a dynamic that Venezuela has acquired in recent years, which has generated resilience, as well as the search for new marketing methods to face this constant siege,” he emphasized.
