Deputy Vega: More than 10 thousand people have participated in the Public Consultation of the Law against Fascism

The second vice-president of the Permanent Committee on Internal Policy of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy María Alejandra Vega, reported that more than 10,000 people have participated in the Public Consultation of the Bill against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions.
During the extraordinary session of this Thursday, August 22, in a right of speech, Vega offered an assessment of popular participation in the debates held in the national territory.
In this regard, he noted that in the public consultation carried out in the 23 states of the country and the Capital District, “more than 10,153 individuals and institutions have participated. We have more than 793 systematized proposals.”
“It has been carried out in more than 150 municipalities, with 142 activities and 81 participations of deputies in radio programs. The People have been empowered by the law,” Vega emphasized, in a press release from the AN.
He also noted that among the proposals received during the consultation are the incorporation into the educational theme and prevention with respect to fascism and neofascism; incorporation of the rights of victims of violence; and the inclusion of the terms: technofeudalism, technofascism, cyberfascism and digital fascism, among others.
