The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Willian Gil, reported that the Public Consultation on the Law Against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions is progressing in all municipalities in the state of Lara.

In this regard, in a telephone contact on the program “Al Aire”, which is broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he said that “debates are taking place to guarantee the human right of the Venezuelan people to peace and coexistence”,

He highlighted the need to approve this Anti-Fascism Bill, aimed at sanctioning opponents who have promoted violence in the country. “Fascism is the greatest threat to peace and prosperity within Venezuela, and they have attacked the people in their quest for destruction,” he warned.

He added that to date this bill has been debated in the Iribarren and Torres municipalities with an excellent participation of the People's Power, while adding that during these two days of consultation in both sectors, fascism attacked the population.

“A lot of people responded to the participation and want those responsible for the vandalism to be punished,” he said.

Referring to the second Popular Consultation of community projects that will take place this Sunday, August 25, Gil highlighted the importance of this initiative, which seeks to deepen leading and participatory democracy.

“We had a consultation where a series of projects were approved, of four thousand 500 communal circuits, and they began to be executed, the vast majority of which we can say that 90% have been completed,” he said.
