Dheliz Álvarez is appointed as the new superintendent of SUDEBAN

The vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, through an Official Gazette issued this Wednesday, appointed Dheliz Álvarez as the new Superintendent of Banking Sector Institutions (SUDEBAN).

This young revolutionary woman assumes the leadership of the regulatory body of the financial sector in Venezuela after finishing her tenure at the head of the Ministry of Women and Gender Equality.

Álvarez comes to replace Anabel Pereira, who also signed the resolution in the official gazette and will now head the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Foreign Trade.

This appointment is part of a series of changes promoted by President Nicolás Maduro within his cabinet, with the purpose of renewing the image of the Executive after the presidential elections of July 28.
