The dialogue committee made up of deputies of the National Assembly and representatives of 41 organizations for political purposes in the country expects to have ready, by next week, a proposed schedule for this year's presidential elections to be presented to the National Electoral Council (CNE).
This was reported by the president of the parliament, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, who explained that this proposal will be comprehensive and will have the approval of all the sectors participating in this day of dialogue.
“Tomorrow, Thursday, we will receive other proposals and on Friday we hope to be able to have ready the working paper that, next week, we consider signing all of us who participate in this consultation block,” he said.
On the other hand, Rodríguez explained that this instance of dialogue made up of opposition parties, deputies of the National Assembly and different sectors of national life will be formed as a permanent political instance for consultation and discussion.
“We want these to go beyond the electoral events we agree on for the presidential election and to be able to move forward, as well, in other discussions,” he said.
