Diego Luna leaves Caracas FC and will play for Russia's Baltika

Venezuelan Diego Luna will play for FC Baltika Kaliningrad, in the Russian First Division, after the announcement of his departure from Caracas FC due to an agreement between the two teams.
In a statement, the board of directors of the capital's team officially announced the sale of central defender Diego Luna to the Russian club.
“Luna, who became the twelve-time champion of Venezuela in the 2023 season, played a total of 2,783 minutes in 32 games, with one goal scored and one assist, in the FUTVE League,” the statement added.
Caracas FC wished him every success in his new professional career, in which they hope he can continue his growth to maintain an extensive career in Europe. “The Avila institution wishes the young soccer player every success in his promising career and thanks him for his dedication during these years wearing the shirt of the Reds of Avila”, concluded the text.
