Diosdado Cabello: Candidate who does not recognize the results should not participate anymore

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) for future electoral events should write to request competent bodies, the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) and the National Electoral Council (CNE), that whoever does not assume responsibility or recognize the results, no longer participate.

During the speech of his special Con El Mazo Dando program #488, he argued that if he is unable to recognize the results issued by the responsible institution, he should no longer be able to participate.

In that sense, he compared the electoral process to a baseball game. “If the player discusses a play to the referee in a bad way, he is immediately expelled from the game,” he said.

Cabello Rondón stressed that if the extreme right had proof of the alleged fraud, they would have already taken them out. “Since we arrived here, they have been talking about fraud and have never presented proof,” he added.
