The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that today “Chavism is more united every day (...) They have not been able to divide the revolutionary movement and the one that is leaving is drying up”, despite the attacks and all the attempts they have tried to make to divide the revolutionary forces.

In this regard, during the PSUV press conference, he noted that the red awning is preparing to win the presidential elections in 2024 and is therefore making the necessary organizational adjustments to ensure victory.

“Now the community and street teams are 4 people and the proposal is to raise it, now, to 10 people. That will increase the number of the basic structure so that the task of winning the elections is carried out by more people.” At the same time, he said that this week the PSUV will resume the swearing in of the Popular Units for Peace (UPPAZ) to, through these organizations, guarantee the comprehensive defense of the homeland.

“We are not telling lies when we say that we are going to defend the Homeland from any internal or external aggression, and if we have learned anything, it is that we have to be prepared,” he stressed.

In addition, he pointed out that while the opposition has about 14 candidates, Chavism has only one. In turn, he pointed out that in truth this sector has never wanted elections in this country.

I assure you that all those who walk 'set the date', when the CNE (National Electoral Council) sets the date will scream the same, they will scream because they don't want elections, they know that we are going to win the elections, they want to get out of the Revolution,” he said and mentioned that “those who don't believe in elections, those who don't believe in elections, those who don't believe in that the thing is electoral but through the assassination of President Nicolás Maduro”, as well as “those who believe that the path is through a coup d'etat, through the invasion of another country”.

He added that “those who go outside of Venezuela to talk nonsense about their own country should be left out (...) I think they are not interested in the presidency, they are interested in the business behind being a candidate, that they are wanting to be leaders of the opposition to be the ones who receive the money that comes from outside and it's big business.”

He assured how wrong this sector of the right is that has been calling on young people to go with them. “If they can't get a foothold anywhere, it's in the Bolivarian youth, in the Chavista youth, in the conscious youth of this country. We know them, they are not sheep, they are wolves and wolves who want to put on a sheep's costume,” he said.

Regarding the expulsion from the office of the United Nations (UN), he stressed that those who come out today to defend it “were surely receiving false information from that office that thought that we who were colonies, that's the reason they're leaving.”

He noted that UN officials had already been warned for their inadequate attitude. “They had been pointed out and they never corrected. They came to the states plating, 'no, it's the UN. 'And who in the UN? Are we an intervened country? We are not intervening, no, no, they are wrong, it's a courtesy of Venezuela,” he said.

He argued that Venezuela is no one's colony, “we are free, sovereign, independent and that is not in question or at stake. It's a root question, we are convinced and determined to be free.” “They left Venezuela, the attacks will surely come, the issue of Human Rights is very sensitive and the right wing has an international media to turn the perpetrators into victims,” he said.

He stressed that today, when the UN should be concerned about more serious issues and “raise all its flags against the genocide against the Palestinian people committed by the Zionist government of Israel, aided by the United States and the European Union,” they continue their efforts with Venezuela.

“It's a massacre against children, women, the elderly and the UN doesn't say anything, or rather, it doesn't do anything. And are they worried about Venezuela? , really worry about the substantive and that the world can believe in those organisms,” he said.

In addition, he also referred to the fact that the United States embassy has nothing to say in the internal affairs of our country.

“A long time ago we kicked the United States embassy out of here, it has nothing to do in the internal affairs of Venezuela,” he said, referring to the ruling of that body calling for the expulsion of UN officials.

Faced with this, Cabello stated that after 25 years this Revolution is not afraid of anything or anyone, “we are not going to fall into blackmail, there are no untouchables in this country, the last names are over. Here the owner is the People of Venezuela.”
