Diosdado Cabello: Electoral Advantage is a Counterrevolutionary Practice

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, called for avoiding running for office out of time or outside the time limits established by this political organization, stressing that advantagism is a counterrevolutionary practice.

“Advantage or playing ahead are not revolutionary practices, but counterrevolutionary practices, and the line is that there are no lines,” Cabello stressed about the process of nominating candidates for elections to legislative councils, National Assembly and governorates.

During his Con El Mazo Dando program, he recalled that a revolutionary does not offer or refuse anything and only holds the position imposed or appointed by the Revolution,

“We must respect the militancy and our people,” said Cabello, who announced that he quoted several members of the party's disciplinary committee who have appeared on social networks self-nominating or attacking a colleague.”
