Diosdado Cabello: Electoral fraud in Ecuador is due to drug trafficking interests

This Wednesday, April 23, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the recent presidential election in Ecuador “is one of the most gigantic frauds that has occurred in the political history of the world.”

“The real interest is that territories help to commit crimes, for example, Venezuela, because of its strategic location, has become a very positive thing (...) that's what drug trafficking seeks,” he explained.

He argued that the only one capable of carrying out a fraud of such magnitude is US imperialism, “Ecuador has now become the meeting point for the biggest criminals in the world: Uribe and Santos have had to move the drug trafficking operation there to Ecuador.”

During his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 523, he stated that this action has been received by those who hold the Presidency in Ecuador “with open arms”.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Ecuador has been handed over to drug trafficking, to hired killings, to crime. It was impossible for them to let the one who actually won win,” he said.

Cabello ironized that those who demanded records in Venezuela “ran out to recognize him without asking for minutes or anything. Very, very strange despite the claims of the people of Ecuador.”
