During statements to the media, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, in the context of the elections in Bolivia and its internal division, said that he is saddened by the situation.
“That a group of comrades who are facing a historic enemy are unable to come to an agreement and guarantee unity for that people is very sad,” said Cabello.
In this regard, he warned “like they don't remember what happens when a right-wing government arrives. Those who couldn't agree are going to be persecuted... Like they want someone from the right to govern.”
“In our country there are comrades who have decided to get away and from the outside they start shooting,” he said, adding that Venezuela is the vanguard of the world's movements because of its unity in the face of the pretensions of the right.
The general secretary of the PSUV stated that Venezuela is in the stage of “handing over more power to the people every day. It's not fair to the Bolivian people what they did to them, it's not fair to the liberation movements of the peoples of the world, it's not fair... “, he reiterated.
