Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during his Con El Mazo Dando program, rejected statements by the president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, in which he criticizes the Venezuelan Government for alleged violations of human rights, when the dignity of the original Mapuche people is violated in his country.

Cabello referred to the conflict facing the Mapuche people in the regions of Araucanía and Los Ríos, where the original inhabitants are subject to discrimination and persecution by the Boric government.

We are not interested, regardless of your opinion, how many Mapuches are there imprisoned in Chile for defending indigenous peoples' rights? How many young people lost their sight during the protests? Why are you messing with Venezuela? You don't have moral authority, you're too small to mess with Venezuela,” he emphasized.
