Diosdado Cabello: In Venezuela there is a people determined to exercise their sovereignty

In our country there is a people determined to exercise their sovereignty, demonstrating this with their massive participation in elections and popular consultations held so that communities decide which projects will be implemented with funds allocated by the National Government, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“The participation has always been very good, we have never had to be on the defensive with the issue of participation. You are going to vote, you are participating and you decide. If not, you are already letting others decide for you,” he said after exercising his right to vote in Monagas.

In this regard, he assured that in the different electoral centers of the country there has been a massive influx of voters. He also highlighted the speed with which it is possible to vote during these elections to elect governors, deputies and representatives of the country's legislative councils.

“Those who were saying that the centers were empty, come to El Furrial to see. Here is a people voting without any kind of pressure, without them having to be forced. People do it with full awareness,” he emphasized.
