Diosdado Cabello: PSUV will be deployed across the country to listen to the People

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced this Monday that the red awning will be deployed this week across the country to listen and share with the people.

“We are going to start this week, it is an instruction that we are giving, that the political leadership, together with the governors, mayors, are going to the neighborhoods, to the communities, to share with our people and listen to them,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

He also explained to the party leadership that the deployment is not for them to give speeches to the People. “It's not that you get to give a speech to the People, the People have to give a speech to us, we must listen to them and we learn from them,” he said.

He pointed out that the wounds caused by the recent US aggression against Venezuela, which resulted in the vile kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, are still fresh; which is why he stressed the importance of “between caring for us and between helping us; people and leadership, all united.”
