The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and host of the Con El Mazo Dando program, Diosdado Cabello, revealed that the billboard, the favorite segment of the viewers of this television space, was born as a way of reporting that was used in units of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.

During the broadcast of the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, Cabello explained that within the principles of command and leadership of our FANB there is one that expressly states “keep your men informed”. Under this premise, as he explained, military units used to have billboards so that soldiers and officers could be aware of national events, no matter where in the territory they were stationed.

“When the program was born, we first showed the newspapers, because it was a way of counteracting what they said. At that time, it was these media that generated opinion matrices. Then Twitter (today X) arrived and we began to put what was there and in the media. Then the situation on Twitter began to come true and people began to realize and say, for example, that Leopoldo López is a rascal,” he said.

In this regard, he stressed that this section of the program broadcast every Wednesday by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) takes the substantive elements that any official spokesperson or opinion representative of the opposition can say and serve to unmask the lies of the right.
