Diosdado Cabello: Táchira has everything to be prosperous, productive and at peace

Táchira, under the leadership of Governor Freddy Bernal, will be a powerful, prosperous, productive and peaceful state, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

In this regard, during the swearing in of the newly re-elected governor, Cabello called on the people of this Andean entity to accompany Bernal's administration, as they have been doing, to continue on the path of progress of that entity.

“It is in your hands, brothers and sisters, together with this man (Bernal) to turn Táchira into the power state of Venezuela,” he said.

On the other hand, he called for “loyal and respectful” treatment with Colombia so that they can work hand in hand for progress. “Let the violence stop there, let the Colombian State take care of its border and we take care of ours. Let trade flow normally, without paramilitaries charging merchants on the other side,” he said.
