During Con El Mazo Dando
's 554th program, Diosdado Cabello pointed out that the
company CITGO was taken from the Venezuelan people by the country's extreme right.
“CITGO
was sold off for more or less a third of its price,” he said, while stressing that the commissions for
that sale were given to Juan Guaidó, Leopoldo López, and others.
He recalled that
the extreme rightists claimed that it was protected in the hands of Juan Guaidó's Narnia government , when the reality was to dispossess this oil company.
“Protect CITGO? If they are charging the commission! Is that the payment that the people of the United States are
charging for the favors done, or was it that you
that was free? And that is against Venezuelans and Venezuelans thanks to
all that band of La Sayona (María Corina) down; Juan Guaidó, down; Julio Borge
down... they made it possible to have CITGO stolen from us,” he said.
He stressed that
they do not recognize this crime but that “someone will have to come to Venezuela
and we will be waiting for them.”
He highlighted the action
of the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez,
to speak out in defense of those stolen assets that belong to Venezuelans.
