The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, urged the candidates of the revolutionary forces to maintain permanent contact with the Venezuelan people.

“The street is our thing, let's not trade the street for anything. That is irreplaceable. We are part of the People,” he emphasized.

In that regard, he stressed that “a big difference we have with the opposition candidates is that they are not of the People, they are anything but part of our People. They live in their bubble, they've always lived in their bubble.”

“Today they have the bubble, for 10 or 15 years, because they are the majority, but they don't earn anything. They're always divided,” he said.

In that scenario, he said that “we have to set a super example holding hands with the governor, our candidate, candidates, going as a team (...) as a single force.”

The statement was made by Cabello, at the Teresa Carreño Theater, where the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led a meeting with candidates from the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), running for the next elections of deputies and deputies to the National Assembly (AN).

He recalled that “in the worst moments that we have been in over the last few years, the answer has always been for the moralization of our people in the street”, referring to when “the right wing tried to set fire to Venezuela, we went to the streets”.

At this point, he mentioned the events that occurred in the state of Sucre, where the extremist right wing had carried out looting on Pan-American Avenue, “that's where we went”.

He stressed that it is a matter of activating the “strength of Venezuela, of our Homeland. Add, add and add”.
