During the special Con El Mazo Dando program, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, once again, assured that the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference (CEV) is truly a covert political party and does not respect Catholics.
He stressed that the CEV's support for the fascist extreme right has been for a long time, “that's not new. The Venezuelan Episcopal Conference party is an opposition party in Venezuela.”
“They don't respect people who are Catholic, they're going to give a mass and they think that everyone who's there is squalid, and they don't respect the Catholics who are there,” he reiterated.
In this regard, issue number 510, he stated that this attitude is not followed by all priests, “not all, but there is a group, yesterday I read, one that said: 'I feel again as if I were in the Republic of East Germany, when that straw went to East Germany. They throw their thing if anyone grabs it.”
In that scenario, Cabello commented that the fascist extremist María Corina Machado, “now wears a prayer. God has a lot of work, there are a lot of sick children, there are a lot of people who need real, true help so that this lady is tangling things up with God.”
In that sense, he emphasized that God has a direct line with the humble People, “he is always with the humble People, always”.
