Diosdado Cabello: Today Venezuela, as the enemies of the Fatherland know, is impregnable!

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed this Monday that the country is impregnable, despite threats, from North American imperialism, since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“We have been under threat since Commander (Hugo) Chávez became president of the Republic. This is a historical truth and we have always prepared, from the outset, for the defense of our Homeland,” said Cabello during the weekly press conference of the red awning.

He stressed that Venezuela, in its entire history, has never been out to attack other countries. “With the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, threats emerged from all sides, all in order to seize Venezuela's natural resources, which are many and very valuable,” he criticized.

Cabello pointed out that the actions of the fascist opposition sectors have always focused on the fact that if there is a North American intervention, they will hand over all of Venezuela's natural resources. “They are lying or making a trade,” he said.

In this regard, he emphasized that “the State, including our People, has a system of territorial defense. The Armed Forces are not the same Armed Forces as they were 40 years ago, now it is the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, a single force. The concept is different and we have demonstrated that in practice.”

“Today Venezuela, as the enemies of the country know, is impregnable, for those who have tried to make use of our territory or accuse us of anything. They know this, and above all because there is a great conscience in our people,” he stressed.
