This Wednesday, May 28, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, affirmed that the Bolivarian Government will preserve the peace of the Venezuelan people in the face of threats and aggressions from sectors of the extreme right.
“We are going to do what we have to do to preserve peace, within the framework of respect for the Constitution and the Law,” he said about the new narrative promoted by sectors of the Venezuelan extreme right that they can do “whatever they want” in the country.
In this regard, during his Con El Mazo Dando No. 528 program, he recalled that sectors of the extreme right had plans to plant bombs at the headquarters of embassies and hospitals to unleash violence in the country ahead of the elections last Sunday, May 25.
He pointed out that if sectors of the extremist right had won the election in Venezuela, a wave of persecution and assassinations would break out against the revolutionary forces.
“Because that is the right wing; and that is why our people have been taking on this as a challenge to preserve peace, because it is one of the fundamental values that it expresses in each of the measurements that are taken,” he said
