This Wednesday, during the broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program conducted by the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, he assured that peace cannot be bought, and referred to those who receive “recognition” despite not being deserving and that their actions are the opposite.
In reference to the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to the far-right fascist María Corina Machado, Cabello said that “peace cannot be bought, but there are people who buy peace prizes; they are prizes that you buy like buying a pair of shoes, but you don't buy peace”.
In this sense, inspired by Bolivarian thought, he assured that peace must be accompanied by justice.
“How much effort must be made to achieve peace, how much sacrifice, detachment, revolutionary or a revolutionary comes from the only thing it owns; its life,” he said, adding that “that is the difference between Chavism and stupid sectors, it sells Patria, swept up in imperialism, while they live fighting, we are increasingly united”.
He also valued the act that the first national president Nicolás Maduro Moros held with different sectors of the country that seek to put peace and respect for sovereignty ahead.
Within the framework of national unity, he assures that when the president calls for an end, not only should the Chavistas come out. “The call was attended by an enormous number of Venezuelans who have nothing to do with politics, who are not related to the Revolution, there are people from the opposition who love their country”
