Do not market! MPPS warned that Colgate Clean Mint is not suitable for human use

The Ministry of People's Power for Health, through the Autonomous Health Comptroller's Office, warned the population not to purchase the Colgate Total toothpaste product, Clean Mint variant, which was classified as not suitable for human use.

“The above-mentioned product has been classified as not suitable for human use, due to the occurrence of adverse reactions associated with its use (...) It is concluded that it represents a health risk and should not be marketed or distributed in the national territory,” the statement said through its account on the social network Instagram.

He specified that this call comes after the health alert issued by the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), notified by the Office of Integration and International Affairs, following the report he made on the product.

In view of this, the health authorities urged “the population throughout the national territory to purchase medicines, food, hygiene and personal care products only in authorized establishments and products with proper health registration”.
