Drugs and supplies for 15 hospitals arrive in Monagas

The Ministry of People's Power for Health sent 212 thousand 238 drugs and medical supplies to the state of Monagas, which will be distributed in 15 hospitals in the state.

Lesbia Ibarra, regional coordinator of the Department of Public Procurement, mentioned that the drugs sent include: antibiotics, analgesics, antipyretics, antiallergic drugs and disposable materials, such as: gauze, gloves, overalls and gowns, among others.

He added that 92,457 of the drugs received correspond to the Respiratory Health Program (PSR), which treats patients with tuberculosis.

400 tests were also counted to identify the microbacterium tuberculosis complex.

Among the favored hospitals are Manuel Núñez Tovar, Doña Felicia Rondón de Cabello, by the Venezuelan Social Security Institute; Simón Bolívar, Psychiatric “Luis Daniel Beaperthuy” and the Eastern Cardiovascular Center “Miguel Hernández”.

In foreign municipalities, they will be Nicolás Goannini, in Punceres; Elvira Bueno Mesa, in Piar; Darío Márquez, in Bolivar; Tulio López Ramírez, in Sotillo, and José Antonio Urrestarazu, in Caripe.

Also type I of Uracoa; Luis González Espinoza, in Ezequiel Zamora; Ana Torrealba, in Libertador; Pablo Villarroel, in Acosta and Ernesto Guzmán, in Cedeño.
