Eastern Türkiye was shaken by a magnitude 5.9 earthquake

This Wednesday, Türkiye's Disaster Management Agency (AFAD) reported that a magnitude 5.9 earthquake shook the east of the country so far only material damage has been reported.
The earthquake, which caused citizens to leave homes, schools and offices, occurred at 10:46 (local time) with an epicenter in the Kale district of Malatya, at a depth of 10.07 kilometers, the AFAD said.
In the provinces of Sanliurfa, Adiyaman, Kilis, Gaziantep and Kahramanmaras there were also reports of having felt the earthquake.
The Interior Minister of Türkiye, Ali Yerlikaya, said that there was a partial collapse in three buildings, one in Malatya, in Sanliurfa and in Elazig, with no casualties reported.
