Educational day in Cumaná connected children with science and technology

The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) of the state of Sucre, held an educational day of the National Scientific Seed Program that brought together 37 boys, girls and young people from the Agroproductive Tourism District of Urban Services Historic Center, to bring them closer to the fascinating world of science.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), the activity took place on the emblematic steps of the historic Basilica of Saint Agnes, where participants observed the moon through a telescope and learned about the solar system.

They also enjoyed demonstrations of Fun Chemistry, explored the functioning of robots and participated in astronomical dynamics designed to awaken their imagination and motivation for scientific knowledge.

This day is part of MINCYT's commitment to scientific training since childhood, an initiative framed in the Great Mission of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán.
