El Niño Simon National Foundation Held Comprehensive Day of Pediatric Health Care in Choroní

Within the framework of the policies of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros to improve the health and well-being of children, the National Foundation “El Niño Simón”, a comprehensive day of pediatric medical care was held that benefited more than 600 boys and girls in Choroní, parish of the municipality of Girardot, Aragua state.

The activity was led by the foundation's highest national authority, María Carneiro de García, and regional director Nakary Motta, and was part of the program “Health goes to children's homes” to guarantee access to quality health services for all infants.

For two consecutive days, the day included the active participation of more than 15 specialists in different areas, such as dentistry, pediatrics, psychology, dermatology, ultrasound and gynecology, who offered consultations and diagnoses to boys and girls.

He also carried out the “house to house” visit in some sectors of the parish together with the team of doctors to treat those patients who are in bed and could not travel.

The young attendees enjoyed recreational activities, including games and face painting, which added a valuable recreational component to the day, promoting smiles and moments of happiness among the children of the community.

The Foundation also delivered more than 3,000 medications to patients, ensuring that each child can comply with their medical treatment, as well as around 12 technical aids including canes, wheelchairs and anti-decubitus mattresses, a fundamental aspect of the institution's health strategy.

The national president of the “El Niño Simon Foundation” highlighted the importance of this day for the people of Choroní, stating that “these types of initiatives not only address medical needs, but also reinforce the sense of community and solidarity. We are committed to our seedbed, and it's an honor to be able to contribute to their well-being.”

For her part, the regional director of the El Niño Simón National Foundation, indicated that “through these days, we continue to demonstrate the importance and effort that Governor Karina Carpio is also making to face the challenges of child health in the state of Aragüeña.”

As part of the joint work and the perfect articulation, the Nevado Mission also participated during these two days with veterinary care for pets, offering vaccination, deworming and sterilization of more than 200 animals.
