The Guaicaipura municipality of Miranda state is preparing to be one of the main protagonists at the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (FITVEN) 2025, from this Friday, November 28 to Monday, December 1, in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, presenting a proposal that combines the historical and cultural richness of the region with the unmistakable flavor of its gastronomic icon: El Tequeño.

El Tequeño, originally from the Mirandinian capital, Los Teques, will be the highlight and the official Gastronomic Ambassador of Guaicaipura at the fair, which will present its city brand “¡Eche! I'm a little kid.”

Special tastings and demonstrations of its preparation will be held, as well as promoting tourist routes that include the most emblematic bakeries and places in Los Teques, where you can enjoy traditional Tequeño.

Under the motto “Miranda: road and destination”, the municipality will be present at the Mirandina exhibition in the large tent set up on the boardwalk of the Carabobeño port, where not only will its gastronomy stand out, but also its historical and natural attractions. The presentation seeks to attract investment and position Guaicaipura as a key tourist destination in the country's central region.

Mayor Farith Fraija invited tour operators, national and international investors and the general public to visit Miranda's stand at FITVEN 2025. The objective is to establish strategic alliances that boost the local tourism sector, generating employment and strengthening the municipality's economy.

“We bring to FITVEN not only our landscapes and history, but also the heart of our flavor. El Tequeño is our flag, a sign of the quality and warmth of our people. We invite everyone to discover why Guaicaipura is a destination that has everything. “, said Fraija.
