Since September 2, the new Electronic Ticket Collection System (SUVE) comes into force on the Ramón Velásquez Araguayán surface and rail transport lines.
According to information published
on the news website, Velásquez
Araguayán assured that this new method will gradually
replace the
T-Ticket card, and announced that the Venezuelan Government is carrying out the appropriate procedures to promote the National Metrobus System.
The publication explained that SUVE offers three card
options, which are differentiated by colors, which are:
·
Amarillo, aimed exclusively at people with
disabilities and/or the elderly, who will be exempt from paying for the trip.
·
Azul, to mobilize students at
different educational levels; it has a discount of 50%
·
Red for the rest of the users
It is important to highlight that on August 23,
President Nicolás Maduro unveiled this novel mechanism called SUVE
for the payment of tickets within the Caracas Metro System.
