Erdogan: Türkiye broke relations with Israel

The President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced that he broke relations with the Government of Israel due to the genocide carried out by Zionism against Palestine in Gaza.


“We, as the State and Government of the Republic of Türkiye, have broken relations with Israel. Right now, we don't have any relationship with Israel,” he said.


Erdogan added that his Government will not take any steps to promote future cooperation with the Israeli authorities.


So far, 43,665 deaths have been registered in Gaza since October 7, 2023, and the number of injured people has risen to 103,076. 70% of the victims are women and children.
