The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Saturday a day of comprehensive social care for more than 400 families in the Amalivaca Commune, in the Pinto Salinas sector of the El Recreo parish.
Accompanied by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, the Vice President supervised the day and carried out a house by house, in compliance with the institutions of the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, to govern from the street next to the town.
“We are working together with our people reviewing the projects of the popular consultations, revising the plan of the communal winery,” he said, while announcing the decrease in the price of products from the poultry sector (chickens, eggs).
With regard to the meat sector, he indicated that “we have made progress but prices have to fall further and one of the ways to lower prices are open-air markets. Today, across the country, we have 375 open-air markets.”
