Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez thanked Russia for its cooperation in the field of transport, especially air transport, after the increase in flights between Russia-Venezuela.

“I want to thank Russia's cooperation in the field of transport, both in maritime transport where we are exploring joint routes, but above all in air transport. It is an important advance that we can have increases in Russia-Venezuela flights as part of the tourist exchange, it always gives a lot of emotion when they come to our country,” said Rodríguez, at the XIX Meeting of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission.

He asserted that cooperation is very important, especially today when the United States government is once again pressuring other countries in its quest to isolate Venezuela so that airlines do not come to our country.

“President Nicolás Maduro and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, as one person, raise the flag for the peoples of the world, for their dignity, for peace, for international quality and for the international cooperation of international law,” he said.

He reiterated the willingness of President Maduro's team to continue moving forward, consolidating ties, cooperation and above all consolidating the common dignity of our peoples. “When Venezuela is under serious threats of military aggression, we are grateful for all the expressions of solidarity that Russia has always had with our country,” he added.
