In the People's Republic of China, the percentage of exports increased by 12.4% during the month of March compared to the previous year, as companies took advantage to overcome the increase in tariffs by the Donald Trump administration in the United States (USA).

In the first three months of 2025, exports from China increased by 5.8%, while imports fell by 7%, the Customs Administration reported, Chinese imports fell by 4.3%.

China's trade surplus with the United States (US) was 27.6 billion dollars in March, due to a 4.5% increase in its exports. While in the first quarter of the year it registered a surplus of 76 billion dollars with the North American nation.

The Trump administration raised tariffs on Chinese products exported to the United States to 145%, in the face of illegal trade policies imposed by the US president globally, which generated great tension in the world.

It is also known that the biggest increases in exports went to neighbors in Southeast Asia, who saw China's exports soar by almost 17% in March compared to the previous year.
