Faith and art! They pay homage to José Gregorio Hernández with a mural in La Vela de Coro

The government of Falcón state highlighted that as part of the activities carried out by the Venezuelan people on the occasion of the canonization of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández as a Saint of the Catholic Church, the plastic artist from the entity's Colina municipality, Leonel Vera, and his Cultural Foundation unveiled a mural in homage to the one also known as the “Doctor of the Poor”, as a sign of gratitude and devotion.

Through his Telegram channel, he highlighted that the small, but significant, activity was attended by various personalities, including representatives of the company NAVASCA, whose support made it possible to create the mural.

Vera also expressed her gratitude to each of the public and private companies, friends, collaborators and the town of La Vela.

It should be noted that the image of the Venezuelan Saint is located on Bolivar Avenue right at the stop of the emblematic Coro-La Vela transport, it serves as a reference of faith for those who travel daily on the road and entrust themselves to the protection of such a distinguished representative of the Colinense church.
