Falcón began characterization of cattle in more than 7,500 production units

Under the leadership of the National Government promoted by President (E) Delcy Rodríguez, the state of Falcón began the characterization of cattle from the Las Trinitarias Genetic Center, located in the Miranda municipality.

This important day, framed in the food sovereignty policies of the national administration, plans to serve more than 7,500 production units distributed in the 25 municipalities and 83 parishes of the Falconian territory.

Governor Víctor Clark stressed that this deployment has the valuable support of the Minister for Agriculture and Lands, Vladimir Padrino López, to strengthen the country's agro-productive capacities.

The strategic plan seeks to consolidate the parameters required at the national and international levels for the certification of Venezuela as a territory free of foot-and-mouth disease. It will also make it possible to design and implement State policies aimed at comprehensive technical assistance, financing, effective planning and genetic improvement of the regional herd, which recognizes the daily efforts of an agricultural sector that positions Venezuelan livestock as one of the most competitive in the continent.

To guarantee full coverage, the Peasants' Council and the communal power are carrying out an unprecedented territorial deployment, which ensure the registration of each unit to maintain the strict health line that totals 13 consecutive years without the presence of foot and mouth disease.

This day represents an act of food sovereignty essential for obtaining consolidated official figures. Local producers such as Jorge Fernández expressed their active support for the process, a fact that reaffirms that government support is key to raising performance levels and ensuring the sustained growth of local livestock production.
