Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), during patrolling and reconnaissance work in the state of Guayana Esequiba, detected and dismantled a camp used by criminal organizations established in that location, reported the Strategic Operational Commander (CEO) of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a post on his Instagram account, the senior military officer explained that a 50-point rifle was seized in the aforementioned space; six fragmentary grenades; a CQR AR10 rifle; a 9 mm Beretta PX4 gun; a green vest; 1,273 ammunition caliber 7.62x51; 214 ammunition caliber 5.56x45; 824 ammunition caliber 7.62 x 39; 38 radios; 1 signal jammer; 2 cell phones; 15 AR15 chargers; 27 chargers for FAL; 1 artisanal FAL magazine; 1 9 mm magazine; 6 16-gauge shotgun cartridges; 2 telescopic rifle sights; 1 MFG Barret Magazine; 11 camouflaged uniforms from the 3R organization; 12 caps from the criminal group “the 3R organization”; 12 sports shirts from the criminal group “the 3R organization”; 180 grams of cocaine; 1,270 grams of marijuana; 6 ecstasy capsules.
“Venezuela, a territory of peace, law and justice, where organized crime is being fought daily, guaranteeing national sovereignty, peace and calm for the population. The structuring of armed groups on national territory will not be allowed,” said Hernández Lárez.
