FANB dismantled illegal shipyard in Zulia

In space, boats were produced for criminal groups.

During patrolling work in the state of Zulia, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and destroyed a shipyard used for the repair and construction of artisanal boats for criminal groups.

This was reported by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, through a message posted on his Instagram account in which he explained that the shipyard was found in the Los Jovitos sector, San José parish, Miranda municipality of the said entity.

He also highlighted that in the aforementioned space, 3 boats were seized; 8 plastic containers with a capacity of 200 liters each, containing gasoline for a total of 1,600 liters; 22 drums of 200 liters each for storing recine; 7 rolls of fiberglass; 30 wooden boards of the Cedro species for the manufacture of boats; a load beam for the manufacture of boats.

The procedure was placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
