Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and dismantled, in the state of Zulia, a shipyard used by Colombian Armed Terrorist and Drug Trafficking Groups (TANCOL) to manufacture semi-submersible vessels, reported the Strategic Operational Commander (CEO) of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a post on his Instagram account, the senior military officer highlighted that the FANB, together with the Public Security Agencies (CSOs), are fighting fiercely against criminal groups that intend to use our territory for drug trafficking on a daily basis.
In addition, in the aforementioned publication, he noted that in this procedure, framed in the Catatumbo Guajira 2025 Lightning Operation, a vessel under construction was seized; a 16 HP power plant; 10 230-kg fiberglass resin drums; 38 fiberglass rolls and four bags of drying talc.
He also explained that 19 7” P80 sanding discs were seized; 12 P80 4 ½ sanding discs; 72 4 ½ cutting discs; 11 7-inch cutting discs; five drill bits; 40 roller packages, 5 high-pressure hoses of 3 meters each, a welding machine, a circular saw for cutting Elite wood, and others.
“Venezuela is a land of peace, law and justice! In our country, drug-derived products are not produced, trafficked or consumed,” he emphasized.
