“We have to think about giving tools to every Venezuelan who wants to undertake, from the smallest business to the largest, who has guarantees to start producing well-being and through that come opportunities and opportunities for the country to improve and grow,” he said.
This business meeting, in which 400 national businessmen participated under the slogan “Institution, Integration and Development”, was described by the governor of the Tachirense entity, Freddy Bernal, as fruitful and brotherly, where he bet on Venezuela with a commitment to work and union.
In this regard, he reported that in the document submitted by the businessmen, a proposal was given on the subject of electricity supply.
He indicated that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in agreement with his Colombian counterpart, Gustavo Petro, “are well advanced in the possibility of buying electricity.”
He stressed that negotiations with Colombia to “be able to buy 100 megawatts for Táchira, with what Vueltosa produces and what comes from El Guri will improve electricity service in Táchira.”
