The First Heritage Route of Maracay-Choroní was inaugurated with a tour of the historic spaces that marked the development of the city, with the aim of immersing visitors in the living history of the territory and recovering the artistic value of “Aragüeñity”.

This was announced by the Girardot Municipal Council, through its Instagram account, in which it reported that the tour began with an exploration of the Maestranza César Girón, where attendees learned about the history of this architectural jewel through a representation of Carlos Raúl Villanueva.

During this stop, Elpidio Fuentes shared unpublished anecdotes about the bullring, allowing those present to discover new facts about the past of this emblematic venue.

Later, the route arrived at the Casa de la Cultura de Maracay, where the audience enjoyed a play by the Teatro Estable de Maracay; then at the headquarters of the Municipal Council of Maracay-Choroní. There, the participants visited the Voces de la Aragüeñdad Art Gallery and appreciated the transformations carried out in the Sessions Room of the building body.

The day continued, with a tour of the historical photographic exhibition in the open-air art gallery located along the renovated road on Las Delicias Avenue, which portrays the most iconic places in the capital of Aragüeña over time.

One of the highlights was the meeting with the teacher Asdrúbal Figuera, who explained the details of his famous work “Suspended Fat”, whose original name is “Drawn in the Sky”.

Until reaching La Concha Acústica in, where the Venezuelan Music Ensemble of the special education program, Núcleo Maracay, offered a concert to the attendees. The activity ended at nightfall at the Casa de los Arcos.

With this first day, the authorities left the traces of a project that seeks to strengthen the sense of belonging and cultural development in the region.
