First shipment of humanitarian aid from Venezuela for Lebanon and Syria arrived in Damascus

The first shipment of humanitarian aid arrived in Damascus for Syria and Lebanon, donated by the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, said the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil specified that the first shipment contains tons of food, medical supplies in solidarity with these nations that are victims of bombings by Israeli Zionism.

“This is the first shipment of a bridge of solidarity that we have established to support peoples who are fighting for a better future,” he said.

On October 11, the Bolivarian Government made the first shipment of humanitarian aid collected at the collection center set up in the “Salvador Allende” Room of the Foreign Ministry in solidarity with the peoples of the Middle East.

This is about 14 tons of humanitarian aid and consists mainly of medicines, food and supplies.
