Activities in all educational institutions in the country are suspended on May 22 and 23, 2025, said the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez.

In a statement released this Wednesday, through his Telegram channel, he explained that this measure is due to the holding of the elections on May 25.

It is important to remember that this Sunday, May 25, they will be held to elect governors, deputies to the National Assembly and legislators of the Legislative Councils. For this election holiday, 21 million 458 thousand 669 citizens are called to vote to choose 569 positions: 285 deputies to the National Assembly, 24 governors and 260 regional legislators.
