Foreign Minister Gil condemns attacks by the Milei Government against Venezuela

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, condemned the attacks of the Government of Javier Milei against our Homeland, in its quest to cover up the Venezuelan extreme right and to divert attention from the problems suffered by the Argentine people.

“The Neo-Nazi-Fascist Government of Mile i, in a desperate attempt to cover up the violence promoted by sectors of the national extreme right and to divert attention from the mortality that the Argentine people are suffering after the infamous, nefarious and most horrible decisions in politics, intends, with lies and the most vulgar cynicism, to attack Venezuela,” he wrote.

He also described it as shameless that the Argentine government boasts of making complaints, while promoting a bill that seeks to lower the age of accountability to 13, stigmatizing poverty and criminalizing youth.

He recalled that the institutions and public forces of the Venezuelan State acted responsibly and in accordance with the law in the capture of “terrorists who, paid by the Venezuelan extreme right, tried to generate terror and fear for our children, grandparents, grandmothers and all the Venezuelan people, and we will not allow terrorism to disguise itself as a protest.”

He reaffirmed that Venezuela remains firm in complying with the Law. At the same time, he sent an embrace of solidarity to the Argentine people, “who suffer day after day from the decisions of a government, which does nothing but plan what to do to make Argentines more unhappy. We tell them that this Government is a simple blink of history, and better times will come soon.”
