The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, received this Saturday the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Chegini.
“We have enthusiastically received the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Venezuela, Ali Chegini, with whom we spoke cordially during the delivery of his Style Copies,” said the Venezuelan foreign minister, who stressed that the presence of this Iranian diplomat “symbolizes an important step towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries.”
“The Bolivarian Government wishes him a successful diplomatic mission, reaffirming our commitment to further strengthen ties of friendship and collaboration,” he said.
