The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, thanked the Cuban people and President Miguel Díaz-Canel for their strong support in the face of the ruling of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) regarding the electoral results of July 28, which confirms the victory of President Nicolás Maduro.

“The Cuban Revolution has always been forceful when it comes to defending fundamental principles such as the sovereignty and self-determination of nations, as well as confronting the interference of imperialism and its satellites,” said the head of Venezuelan diplomacy through his Telegram channel.

On this same platform, Díaz-Canel asked: “When will interferers and doubters apologize to the re-elected President and to his brave and noble people?” , after learning about the ruling.

Gil also thanked the fraternal support of his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez, for his call to the international community to respect the ruling of the Electoral Chamber.

The Cuban Foreign Minister, through his account on the social network X, called for respect for Venezuelan institutions and for an end to interference against the Latin American country, after the highest judicial authority in Venezuela certified the victory of the candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole.
